In this paper, a dual-scale modelling approach is developed to investigate creep-fatigue behavior and predict crack initiation life for holed structures under multi-axial stress state. The macro-scale simulation supplies local deformation histories the as boundary conditions. process, micro-mechanical damage evolution are described by using crystal plasticity. order validate procedures, series of tests well post-test characterizations were carried out nickel-based Inconel 718 at 650 ?. detailed results macro- micro-scale simulations presented in terms stress–strain behavior, prediction. Regarding benchmark, it may provide an assistant support precognition calculation higher cycles. predicted cycle numbers agreement with experimental ones. More advantages manifested potential scientific engineering significance approach.
